For this image, I began with a dark background. I then used the bullseye-like paintbrush tool in different sizes and places to create a scattered effect. Before adding the effect, these circles were just one shade of lavender. I found the effect named Ink Outlines in the Filter Gallery and instantly loved the outcome.

I believe that this image symbolized the multiple bombs exploding during war. The soldiers who fought for our country couldn't tell when and where these explosions will take place.

I am pleased with my overall image but could have experimented more with other colours.

  1. Erin, you've done a great job balancing this image. The variation in size and overlap is very effective. It would be interesting to see one hit of strong colour, not perfectly centered, as a focal point. You are also doing a nice job generating a story for the image. Well done.
