A thought that represents being back at school for me is lockers.
I took this picture of the row of lockers and the one unclaimed locker because school is all about students coming to gether in a learning and accepting environment. Locker #2335 awaits to hold a new students belongings and be loyal to that student for the rest of the school year.

For this image, I first made it colourles by selecting Enhance > Convert to Black and White. Then, I filtered it by selecting Filter > Brush Strokes > Crosshatch.
Once again , you've done a terrific job of explaining the concept behind your image.You are a little weaker on the explanation of the technical; design. why this angle? Did you enhance the image in any way? Keep up the good work.
